Mack B

Mack B. has been in the entertainment business for the past 20 years. He’s been acting for quite some time and has worked on the following television shows alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood including: The Shield (Co-star with Michael Chiklis), Comedy Central’s The Chocolate News (Co-star with David Allen Grier), The Forgotten on ABC (Co-star with Christian Slater), Dr. Vegas (recurring with Rob Lowe) and Southland on TNT (Co-Star with Regina King). During his tenure as an actor, he would also read a lot of books on production including The Complete Film and Production Handbook. Through his years of working on various programs on set, Mack B. started studying what’s happening behind the scenes when he wasn’t busy filming one himself. This hands on learning experience of watching and studying was priceless. This led to him producing some of his own music videos while working with director Irwin Miller. The pair then teamed up to do several Doritos commercials during the Doritos “Crash the Superbowl Contest Series” in which Miller would direct and Mack B. would write and produce. “Irwin and I have amazing chemistry, creativity, and vision when it comes to working together on projects.” In addition to navigating MackMoon Films, Mack B. is currently writing his first script.

Irwin “Moon” Miller

Irwin Miller kicked off his career in 1997 with his first film “Surprise,” financed by Rainforest Productions. A year later, he was selected for the Sundance Directors Lab, and began directing live television. In 2003, Miller moved to LA, and nabbed his first job as an assistant director on the film, “Timeout,” produced by Oscar-nominated director John Singleton. Two years later, he directed a short called “A View In Black &White,” which landed him a Universal Home Video distribution deal at the LA Film Festival. His television and film credits include “Simply True Show,” “Street Critics,” “Los Americans,” “9ine,” “Broken Glass,” and “Shooter.” In 2009, he produced the live recording of Lady Gaga’s 2009 album release, which led to a string of concert series, featuring such artists as Brandy, Justin Timberlake, Miguel, Kelly Rowland – just to name a few. He’s shot concerts around the world – from LA to New York to London – assembling talented camera crews to create high-end production. In 2010, the Television Academy tapped Miller to produce and direct various Emmy specials and academy events, including the “Backstage Live” preshow to the Emmy Awards. Currently, Miller has distribution deals with Universal and Sony as well as strategic alliances with John Singleton, Dwight Williams, Brillstein-Grey, Weinstein Company, and William Morris Endeavor. Miller helmed the national commercial for USA Reverse, along with his long time friend Martin Glover, who is the brother of Danny Glover. In a tag-team fashion, both Martin Glover and Miller worked with Danny Glover on the commercial, offering reverse mortgages to aging baby boomers. Tapings for the commercial were held at Siren Studios on Sunset Boulevard, and media folks were invited for a behind-the-scenes sneak preview. Danny Glover joined other trusted, celebrity faces — like Sally Field, Henry Winkler (the Fonz on “Happy Days) and game show host Alex Trebeck — serving as tv pitchmen for health and finance products for seniors.
